Standings announced Monday evening are Pottsgrove in the lead, followed by OJR, Pottstown, and St. Pius X. Vote early, vote often for your favorite Queen!
Kendra Barkasi, the Homecoming Queen from Pottstown High School, has scheduled a series of fundraisers. All proceeds go for her Penny a Vote campaign for July 4th Homecoming Queen.
Sarah Green, Owen J. Roberts Homecoming Queen announces the following fundraisers for her contest:
Mon, June 14 4:30-7:30 at McDonalds, High St., Pottstown
Thur, June 17 7-9 at Rita’s Water Ice, Route 100, Pughtown
We all saw today’s paper, so let’s show our community spirit!
Pottstown Borough Council Wednesday night discussed billing the committee an additional $5,000.00 for police overtime.
We appreciate the heads up from the Mercury, (click for the story) and look forward to a solution that will maintain the security of the event, help the Borough budget, and be sustainable given the committee’s fundraising history. Latest story is here.

2nd – Owen J Roberts – Sarah Green
3rd – Pottstown – Kendra Barkasi
4th – St Pius – Carena Connelly
With four weeks to go, anything could happen! Vote early, vote often!
Sarah Green, the Homecoming Queen contestant from Owen J. Roberts HS, is leading the race, followed by Pottsgrove’s Sydney Colman. Pottstown’s Kendra Barkasi and St. Pius X’s Carena Connelly are trailing, for now.
All have fundraisers planned, and you will know about them here, as soon as we do. Vote early, vote often for your favorite Queen. Every Penny counts, and all proceeds help pay for this spectacular event!
