Our Homecoming Queen contest has been a Pottstown tradition for decades. The Homecoming Queens from Pottstown, Pottsgrove, Owen J. Roberts, and St. Pius X High Schools compete for this tiara.
Voting is done on a “Penny A Vote” basis, with collection cans at area businesses, and individual fundraisers.
The Queen, her Court and escorts are presented during the half-time show on Friday, July 2. The following morning they will be riding convertibles in the parade.
Gabby Schurr of Pottsgrove High School is the 2009 Fourth of July Homecoming Queen.
