Credit Cards Donations Being Accepted

Many people have asked if they can contribute via credit/debit card.  Any donation will help, and all will be acknowledged on our Honor Roll.

Please call Pottstown Parks & Rec at 610-970-6608 and they will accept your payment over the phone.  That was easy!

Red, White & Code Blue Alert!

Our friends at Code Blue and Positively Pottstown! have teamed up to run a 50/50 raffle at Memorial Park on Saturday July 3.  2 lucky winners will split 50% of the pot with the remainder going to the July 4th committee.  Tickets will be available near the sound booth where we will be selling the souvenir caps, daily number calenders, and the Senior Citizen car chances.

The Show Will Go On

Pottstown Borough Council Wednesday night discussed billing the committee an additional $5,000.00 for police overtime.

We appreciate the heads up from the Mercury, (click for the story) and look forward to a solution that will maintain the security of the event, help the Borough budget, and be sustainable given the committee’s fundraising history.  Latest story is here.

Honor Roll at $55.00

Three donations totaling $55.00 have been received by the committee.  Our goal is $35,000 to stay solvent.  Please check the Honor Roll page for the donors’ names and how to contribute.

Honor Roll Goal $35,000.

The committee is accepting donations to our Honor Roll for 2010.  This years’ goal is $35,000.00 to pay for the fireworks display, entertainment, set-up, and behind-the-scenes expenses for this huge event.  All of the committee members are volunteers, but numerous professional services are required to put this on.
